Thiago Cordeiro of Barton Community College in Kansas has just given his commitment to coach Brian Gregory and the Dayton Flyers.

Thiago is a 6-9 220 pound center from Pernambuco, Brazil. He played 2 years at Barton Community College where he averaged 11.5 points a game and 8.8 rebounds a game. Thiago also led the nation in blocked shots with an average of 4.2 a game. He had 2 more blocked shots a game than the next best average.

Thiago spent last weekend in Dayton where he had a chance to see the campus and meet with both the team and the coaches. He was not able to participate in open gym as he is recovering from an ankle injury.

Dayton Insider will bring more after we get in touch with the Cordeiro/Barton C.C. camp.
