Dyshawn Pierre To Dayton

Dyshawn Pierre, a 6'6" forward from Ontario, Canada, has committed to the Dayton Flyers.

Dyshawn Pierre has landed in the Atlantic 10 at Dayton, according to a source.

After being a relative unknown, the six-foot-six forward from Ontario, Canada, had a very productive outing at the U-19 World Championships in Latvia in 2011.

Pierre averaged 17 points per game and eight rebounds per contest against some of the world's best young competition.

He's described as an excellent athlete, with the ability to take his defenders off the bounce.

One piece of Pierre's game that needs improvement, according to sources, is his outside shooting. If he can improve in that area, he should be a very nice pickup for the Flyers.
